As this issue of Parvati Magazine goes to print, the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday has passed and the American Thanksgiving holiday is upcoming. It is traditionally a time of bringing in the last of the year’s harvest; my relatives in the country who tend vegetable gardens have kept me posted on their yield of beets, hot peppers, pumpkins and more.
In the face of this abundance from the Earth, it can be easy to cultivate a sense of gratitude. But not all of us live in close harmony with the natural rhythm of a garden, and not all of us feel it is possible to be grateful for the circumstances we currently face.
In this issue of Parvati Magazine, we offer articles that discuss how we can tap into the power of gratitude to inspire and enrich our lives, even in the face of illness or other adversities.
In gratitude for the opportunity to share,
